Summary: Princess Bubblegum brings Marceline with her to spend a day with her and her suitors.


Marceline, in her small bat form, watched from her position hanging upside down from the rafters in Princess Bubblegum's bedroom as the candy princess prepared to spend the day with her suitors. Neither of the girls wanted the princess to do this, as they both thought she could be doing other things instead. However, it was required the princess have good relations with her people.

As Bonnibel was putting on her diamonds and pearls, Marceline decided to speak up. "What is it exactly that you will be doing all day?"

Bonnibel sighed, "My... suitors will probably take me to their favorite places while I pretend I am interested." Her eyes fell on her purse, and then she suddenly looked up at Marceline. "Hey, want to come with me? You can hide in my purse, and afterwards, we can laugh at their failures together."

Marceline smirked as much as she could in her small bat form, "Aww, would Bonnibel miss me too much?"

As she flew from the rafters into Bonnibel's purse, Marceline saw the blush that covered her best friend's cheeks. Unfortunately, there were times the candy princess couldn't spread her wings. Thankfully, she could always show them to Marceline.
