Author Note: So I like to do my onw pieces sometimes, but when I did some back story just came and I decided to do the drabble to help out.



When Claret asked him why he had such a rustic pair of bracelets he pretended not to hear and closed the jewelry box. He didn’t have any costumers for the night and since Xanthe was not speaking with him, the best was to have a calm night at his bedroom: his idles around the brothel never helped him any.

He went to the bed and laid looking at the ceiling, this luxurious place still didn’t felt like home, or better, he still felt lost trying to figure if someday it wouldn’t be anymore. Xanthe made clear many times how he was nothing but a whore and looking around, with gifts of so many lovers he was sure no one would say different.

Looking back, when he made those bracelets, he thought one day he would leave the Teahouse and Xanthe would follow him. “Childish dreams”, he murmured to himself. He would only leave this place if he became sick from one of the clients or to old to not even help clean the place.

He got up and pulled the bracelets from the box: one he made with the rocks Xanthe sent him with one of his monthly letters and from molded pieces he made from mud; the other was made from a piece of cloth he kept from Xanthe’s old pyjamas, that Master Atros Senior forbidden him to wear since it was to full of holes, the tiny mask was Xanthe’s doing, carved when they got to sneak away and hide in the bushes of the garden.

That two bracelets told him Xanthe care, but his harsh words always told him that memories were never enough.

How I made it: The fabric is from a old tie, inside is a molded piece of cold ceramic, that I used to make the mask too. The stones, second bracelet, are from a old necklace that broke.
