"Amazon first, Sorceress last," the Dwarf said.

"And why, pray tell, is that?" the Wizard replied, staring up the cliff in front of them, and in particular at the rope that was supposed to get them all up to the top.

"Amazon's the fastest climber," the Dwarf said, "and she can check to see if the rope's anchored the right way once she gets up there. Simple."

"And the Sorceress?" Why did the Wizard feel like he already knew the answer?

"Only one in a skirt," the Dwarf said, "so she goes last. Makes sense, right?"

That it did.
